Edupedia Provides:
- Edupedia provides websites where one or more educators located anywhere and working at any time, without travel, may collaborate to create syllabi and curriculum. Your college, school, district, state, corporation, education association, or other organization may have your own Edupedia web site. Courses may easily be shared between sites. Edupedia provides templates for competencies (content goals, outcomes, objectives) which, individually, may be related to one or more of these educational components: State or national standards, Prerequisites, Interest Approaches, Instructional Approaches (Lesson Plans) for Presentation, Demonstration, and Discussion; Assignments, Test Items, and Supplemental Instructional Materials (SIMs). SIMs can be one or more pages of text, links to Internet web sites, uploaded slideshows, documents, images, spreadsheets, PDF files, and more. SIMs may be automatically combined into free online printable textbooks. Each competency in each course can be shown to meet state or national standards. Thus, easily created reports show rigor and clarity in support of standards. Each competency is thus a vital connection between standards and lesson plans, assignments, test items, and textbooks.
Delivery of content - free or otherwise:
- You may use Edupedia to automatically extract and deliver any combination of educational components created by your educators: competencies, lesson plans, assignments, test items, and SIMs. The delivery of these educational components may be done via an Edupedia site, or as automatically created PDF files that you may wish to post on any education or corporation web site. For example SIMs may be automatically combined into continuously improved textbooks, which may be used online or printed by students, employees, customers, schools, or state education agencies. Each SIM is directly related to a competency in a course.
